First Light - Original Artwork by Jay Young

'First Light' was painted from my owe of the mist that hung in the valley and how it danced through the hills. These mornings in the countryside I always found to be particularly calming and still as the dawn lights up the sky before the sun touches the earth allowing the vines to slumber in the last shadows before the morning sun awakens the valley. 

This painting is part of the Yarra Valley Collection. A collection that is particularly dear to me as it is my home town and where I feel most alive. 

There is something so much more special about the original artwork where you can see every real brush stroke that I made and can run your hand over the texture of real watercolour paper.

Framed in a custom handmade frame by Croydon Galleries or solid raw Australian Oak with archival matt to ensure the artwork is protected and will not yellow over time, with glass.
