There is a place called Murchison Gap Lookout where you can see over the tops of the hills for miles, even when the valleys below are blanketed in fog, you can see the tips of the hills pocking out the top making you feel like you're on top of the world and nothing can touch you here. It's a place that feels safe, peaceful and calms the mind.

My Story Behind this Artwork

Before my sons had a big moto race, I pulled over at the top of the hill and sat a while to enjoy a moments peace and quiet of the misty morning to ground myself before an overstimulating day on the track. After a fabulous day, I came home realising how important that moment on the top of the hill was to making me handle the day. It made me realise that taking moments where you sit, allowing your mind to wander freely in a space that gives you peace and clarity, can make such a huge positive impact on your day. It's why I had to paint her, to give that feeling and invitation to sit and have a slow moment to start your day right.
